Michigan man charged in execution murder of a 6-year-old boy his father and father’s girlfriend

A Michigan has been charged with murder after killing Tukoyo Moore, his girlfriend and 6-year-old son Tai’raz Moore. 37-year-old Nicholas Radd Bahri has been arraigned Tuesday on three homicide charges, three charges of gun possession and three charges carrying a gun and a charge of militating a dead body.

The murders has caused outrage in Michigan. Moore and his father girlfriend, Isis Rimson, 28, were found murdered on Oct. 1 in their home in Warren, which is about 20 miles outside of Detroit. Both victims were shot execution-style.

Detroit Police officers found the bodies of the woman and child once they got on the scene to notify Rimson and Tai’raz that Moore, 31, had been killed. The murder execution-style murders of three Black people by a non-Black person has caused tension in the city that has had racial issues in the past. Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer has called on federal authorities to get involved in the case for potential hate crime charges.

“Nicholas Bahri. Barbarian. Child Killer. And he will serve his time,” Dwyer said. “I have talked to [Detroit U.S. Attorney] Matthew Schneider. I’ve talked about this before as far as possibly taking this person under criminal capital offense. Mr. Schneider is monitoring the case very closely.”

According to detectives, Bahri and the Moore were possibly involved with drug trafficking, because they found drugs, guns, a large amount of money in the home.

“It was all about drugs and money,” Dwyer said. “And I’ll leave it at that.” Dwyer is pushing for the death penalty for Bahri, however, the death penalty has been banned in Michigan since 1963.
