President Trump tests Positive for Covid-19, First Lady As Well

For the first time in modern history since the attempted assassination of President Reagan, the short term health of a sitting president of the United States is under immediate concern. The pandemic that brought the world to a standstill has reached the White House of the United States with both President Donald J. Trump and first Lady Melania Trump both testing postive for the novel virus that first originated in China.

Trump himself went to twitter to announce that he had contracted the virus, stating Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

The news become eminent when Hope Hicks one of the President’s aides tested positive with Covid-19 and was with the president all week from his debate to his campaign rally in Minnesota. The President has been in contact with quite a few high ranking people including the new Supreme Court Nominee Amy Coney Barrett and more. No direct trace has been identified as to the source of the outbreak, but more information to come.
