It’s about time to start thinking about Christmas gifts and the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has got you covered. This morning the Hall of Fame unveiled limited edition figurines of our forever First Family, the Obamas.

The Barack and Michelle Obama bobbleheads are reminiscent of the moment that the couple walked out to Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois to greet Americans after being elected as the first Black family to lead America 15 years ago. Can you believe it’s been that long?

In order to commemorate that historic year, 2008 exclusive bobbleheads have been created for $40 each. Each item will be numbered to let people know they have an original. The details of the Obama are uncanny. The former President is wearing a black suit with a white shirt and red and white tie while the former First Lady wears the iconic black and red ombre knee-length dress and her classic shoulder-length bob. Both of the figurines are smiling wife and waving to what was over 250,000 people.

The co-founder and CEO of The Museum, Phil Sklar talked about the importance of celebrating the historic event from 2008, “The election of the nation’s first African American president was a momentous occasion, and the celebration on election night was very memorable – both for the nearly quarter of a million people who witnessed it in person and the millions who watched from across the world.”

The Hall of Fame holds bobbleheads of every U.S. President, but Obama has the second most figures of his liking, the first being 45th President, Donald Trump. There are over 10,000 figurines sitting in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The only place to buy the exclusive bobbleheads is on the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum online store.
