Comedian Tiffany Haddish Reveals She Suffered 8th Miscarriage, Says Her Uterus ‘Won’t Keep Anything In It “

Tiffany Haddish has been opening up this week like never before. Ahead of her return to the big screen in Disney’s Haunted Manson, the funny lady is keeping it all the way real about her attempts at motherhood and the medical condition that has kept her from carrying a baby to full term. Haddish reveals she has had eight miscarriages.

Tiffany Haddish discussed her “heart-shaped” uterus with The Washington Post and why it makes it impossible for her to carry a child. “It just won’t keep anything in,” she revealed, without much other details. Some sites have reported that Haddish may be suffering from having a bicornuate uterus. While most uterus shapes are described as an upside-down pear, bicornuate uterus are shaped like a heart.

One site further explained why this is an issue. “If you have a bicornuate uterus, the top of your uterus is separated by a piece of tissue. Depending on the degree of separation, this can cause problems during pregnancy because your uterus may not be able to fully expand.” Statistically, women with this issue are more likely to miscarry.

Haddish reveals that she is also suffering from endometriosis and has opted to keep her medical history private over the years because she did not want sympathy. “I don’t want people saying: ‘Are you okay? Are you all right?’ Like a wounded animal, I just rather go in a cave by myself. Lick my wounds.” Haddish admits she is now open to adoption after so many failed pregnancies and took parenting classes a year ago.
