The hottest conference in the country, CultureCon, kicked off its 2023 tour in Los Angeles this past weekend. Thousands of creatives descended upon the City of Angels for the conference hosted by comedian Jay Pharoah. A who’s who of celebs were in attendance, including Sterling K. Brown, Victoria Monet, Lakeyah and Tim Story. At CultureCon L.A., it was about all things creative as workshops and interactive activations were at every turn. And let’s not forget to mention the breathtaking marketplace, which showcased Black-owned businesses in the creative industry.
This special Juneteenth edition of CultureCon was presented by Max. Other sponsors included CÎROC Honey Melon, Sephora, Amazon Culture Rated and Freevee, McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, P&G My Black is Beautiful, CNN, The Hoxton, Endeavor and Sony.
And we know a time was had in L.A., but if you couldn’t make it, don’t worry; there’s another event taking place in New York City on October 7, 2023. And from Oct. 2- Oct. 6, there will be fun pop-up events and an interactive career fair with recruiters.
