Gear Up for the 2023 Roots Picnic by Adding These Songs to Your Playlist

This year, the Roots Picnic—taking place Friday, June 2, 2023 through Sunday June, 4, 2023 in Philly—is set to be one of epic and historic proportions. For the first time, the event will be spread out over three days with all-star performances, reunions and live podcasts. Usher was just announced as a headliner, and Lauryn Hill, another headliner, will also be celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which she will perform in its entirety at the picnic event.

The Roots Picnic Con will be held today Thursday, June 1, 2023, with panel discussions pertinent to our community’s success. Over the weekend, taking place on the podcast stage, Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, QuestLove and many others will hold sessions of their podcast for fans to enjoy.
