Muhammad Ali trained above a mountain top in rural Deer Lake, Pennsylvania that sat alongside multiple cabins and a horse stable. The camp, called Fighter’s Heaven, became a magnet to the biggest stars and names who wanted to witness Ali train for some of the most memorable boxing matches of the century.
Ali’s love for horses was cultivated in Louisville, Kentucky, the horse capital of the world, where he would spend most of his free days with his stallions. Now with the approval of his estate, the clothing brand Siegelman Stable has created a limited-edition clothing collection inspired by the champ’s love of horses. Using some never-before-seen images of Ali at Deer Lake with his horses, the six-piece collection includes three hats that include Ali’s signature and a custom embroidered theme; a short-sleeved sweatshirt with unreleased images of the boxer; black boxing shorts that were made from headstock material; and boxing wraps.
