Famed fashion designer Marc Jacobs has reintroduced his iconic Stam bag. We first saw the bag in 2005 on the runway. The bag soon was on the arms of every “it” girl in the early aughts.
Originally named after the model Jessica Stam—who, by the way, officially retired from the catwalks in 2013—Marc Jacobs’ Stam bag is the latest addition to brand’s (M)Archives collection of timeless accessories. Its distinctive metal chain and quilted leather scream nostalgia, but not in an overt way.
For its latest campaign, Jacobs tapped R&B singer Ashanti to showcase the recently reintroduced purse in his lineup.
