Joseline Hernandez Trolls Paris Jackson: ‘Your Daddy Lied To You, You’re White’

Michael Jackson left a lasting legacy of music and art for his adoring fans. Undeniably his proudest moment was probably becoming a father. The African American music legend left behind three children who all appear white or mixed race. While some argue that this is due to their mother being white, many believe that the children were, in fact not even his. Reality star Joseline Hernandez agrees and trolled Paris during an episode of The Real.

Michael Jackson was notoriously private about his personal life. We knew little about him dating until the ’90s when he announced that he was in love with Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley. The pair married in 1994 but divorced two years later. It was around that time that Michael met a woman named Debbie Rowe. Rowe was a medical assistant in the doctor’s office where Michael was being treated for vitiligo. Rowe and Michael connected, and he confessed to her that his first divorce had devastated him because he feared he would never become a father. That is when she offered to bear his children.

Michael wed Debbie in 96 in Sydney, Australia, and they had two children together. Michael Joseph Jackson Jr (nicknamed Prince) and Paris Jackson. Rowe says that she was never intimate with Michael, and instead, the children were conceived using artificial insemination. Since his passing, Michael’s only daughter Paris has become the most public of his offspring. The fiery teen would often get into spats with her famous aunts and uncles, including one physical altercation with Janet after Paris reported her grandmother missing. More troubling than her attitude was the fact that Paris looked nothing like her famous family.

People for years have pointed this out, and as Paris got older, she defended herself. In an interview a few years ago, she claimed that those close to her father saw her resemblance to him and that she is very much his daughter. The ladies of The Real defended her, especially Tamara Mowry, who herself is biracial and raised her children with a white father. Tamara says that her children are blonde with blue eyes but are 100% her kids.

Guest host Joseline Hernandez chimed in, saying, “she’s white!” with a shrug. When Tamara tried to educate her on how members of biracial families can have drastically different features, the Puerto Rican princess doubled down with, “I understand she said her dad never lied to her, but your dad lied to you. Let’s just keep it real; she’s a white girl. She’s a beautiful white girl, but she needs to stay real with herself.”

During her 2017 Rolling Stone cover story, Paris agreed to address the idea that Michael was not her father only that one time, saying, “He will always be my father. He never wasn’t, and he never will not be. People that knew him really well say they see him in me, that it’s almost scary.”

Her brother Prince, on the other hand, says he never really cared what people thought and does not feed into the notion that Michael did not father them.
