You’ll know not to come for Ms. Keke Palmer. The multi-hyphenated superstar is currently in a career-high thanks to the success of Get Out, her recent hosting of Saturday Night Live, and of course, the announcement that she is expecting her first child. The beauty was glowing on SNL when she revealed her baby bump. Fans, however, thought she did not have the same glow in photos from a football game with her baby daddy. Keke decided to clap back.

Keke Palmer has been transparent about her skin journey for a while now. The beauty struggled with adult acne and acne scars and began taking her fans on the journey with her as she uncovered what did and did not work for her skin. Keke vented over the summer about how advanced plastic surgery is for body augmentation, but somehow they cannot figure out how to clear up someone’s skin. “All these years and all these inventions, you can’t figure out how to take the beautiful skin from my ass and put it on my face?” she questioned. She continued saying, “I’m tired of it. I’m done with it. People out here with adult acne are struggling, and you haven’t figured out that cure? I’m done.”
Palmer continued to press on, however, and was makeup free at a game when people decided to call her out and tell her she looked ugly. She immediately clapped back, saying, “I just saw a few comments of ppl saying I was ugly cause I wasn’t wearing any makeup. And I really want y’all to get the help y’all need because makeup isn’t real. I’m beautiful in real life because of who I am, not what I look like.” Fans immediately supported the pregnant star and encouraged her to stay strong in the face of the haters.

Palmer assured fans that she had all the self-love she needed and just wished she could share some. “I wish I could bottle how I feel about myself and sell it. Because some people take comments to heart, and these ppl just say anything. I mean, truly, it’s insane to say anyone is ugly, but especially me.”
