Vivica A. Fox has had a long, illustrious career in Hollywood starring in films like Independence Day and Kill Bill: Vol. 2. After putting skin in the game, she is now producing her own projects. She has partnered with Lifetime to produce 17 “Wrong” films for the network while also starring in them as well.
Her love life seems to also garner a lot of attention such as her relationship with 50 Cent and the back and forth public spat that followed after their breakup and her previous engagement to club promoter Omar “Slim” White.
The Two Can Play That Game actress didn’t hold back when she answered the question. “I got six god-babies. Don’t think that because I didn’t birth children, that I don’t have children,” Vivica said. “I have six godchildren and I do not feel less fulfilled as a woman. Period. All I got to do is spend an afternoon with them.”
She continued, “I love children. Please do not get me wrong I absolutely love children. In my life, it was career or children and I have never met the man that I can have children with. I didn’t. Almost made that mistake and three months before my family was like, ‘You will not! You absolutely will not!’ and lost a whole bunch of money and deposits and this that and the third but I trust my family.”
While she defended her decision on not having kids, not long ago the veteran actress did say that not having kids was her “biggest regret.”
Telling Oprah Winfrey on her Where Are They Now? series, she said, “That’s the biggest regret of my life that I have is that I didn’t have a child.”
“I’ll never forget seeing Halle Berry on the red carpet and she just had Nahla and I said, ‘Wow she’s so beautiful.’ She said, ‘Vivica if I knew then what I know now I would’ve had 5 of them.’ And she said ‘the joy that I see in her eyes is just like no other high that I ever experienced.’ I don’t get to see my eyes in a child and I think that’s something that I’ll miss.”
