Steve Harvey does not have a fan in Tony Rock. The entertainer and comedian is known for many things, including giving advice. He is the author of four books, including “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment ” which was adapted into the film Think Like A Man.
Over the years the Family Feud talk show host has come under fire for various comments he’s made as well as appearances, including his infamous meeting with Donald Trump, which he received widespread backlash for.
One thing that’s been prevalent in the media for Harvey is his familial relationships. The radio show host has been married three times and is the father of seven children. Currently, he’s married to his third wife, Marjorie, and comedian Tony Rock, brother to Chris Rock, is not here for his “advice” on love, due to the circumstances of the couple’s pairing.
Harvey and the former Marjorie Bridges married in June of 2007 after his divorce from his second wife, Mary Shackelford, in November 2005. As it pertains to Marjorie, Harvey says that she is responsible for making him a better man and changing his life.
Amidst the backlash for meeting Trump, which Harvey said his wife suggested he deliberately miss the meeting, the Everybody Hates Chris actor was amongst many who felt as though nobody asked Harvey to be a “representative for black people”. A clip surfaced with Rock speaking on TV One on Harvey, saying “Who the f**k puts Steve Harvey as the representative for all things Black? Steve Harvey is on his third marriage. His third wife was [a] mistress to his second wife. Yet, Black people have anointed this motherf**ker the oracle when it comes to Black dating. This n***a wrote a book on dating,” he added. “You’re on your third wife, homie!”

Rock’s claims on her being a mistress have actually also been confirmed by his second wife. While making publicity rounds to discuss their messy divorce, she made claims that the reason for their marriage’s demise was due to Steve cheating on her with his current wife. She also confessed that she began finding pure evidence of Steve’s infidelity on their 2nd anniversary, although being together for 16 years.
Their divorce proved to be so messy in that she claimed to have lost everything, also being arrested for a child support order that she allegedly did not know about. She also claims to have no contact with her son, Wynton. It was reported, however, that she was given three of Steve’s homes and also $40,000 dollars per month ($480K per year), till 2009. After 2009, she was awarded $1.9 million
During a series of videos uploaded to social media, Harvey once had this to say in regards to her ex-husband. “I want JUSTICE. I want what I worked 16 years for. I was with him when he had nothing, so I earned her stake in the wealth,” she says.
“I want everything back that Steve and Marjorie took from me. They think they can leave me to die, but I want what’s mine. I want what I worked for, I want my share. Half of everything that they both have since 2005 is MINE. I want them both held accountable for it. I would not wish this life on them. We can all talk and settle this. I want my money. I just want what I worked for. I am not going to stop talking about it until I get the lifestyle that I deserve. When we met, we had nothing and now after all these years, I have nothing and he has everything. They just go in their day to day like I am nothing. Why is God is not telling them this is ok to do to Mary? It’s always in my head and in my sleep and in my dreams. I have to live with this trauma and they are living lavish. How can they call themselves Christians and be out shopping and vacationing and living the good life knowing what they are doing to Wynton’s mother? It would be easier for all of us to sit down and talk, but they don’t want to do that.”
