‘Girl’: Fans Criticize Evelyn Lozada After She Shows Her Thong in Dance Video with Daughter Shaniece Hairston

Evelyn Lozada‘s accidental “thong” slip on Monday, Oct. 19, has some followers throwing massive shade at the “Basketball Wives” star after she shared a video with her daughter Shaniece Hairston dancing to two chart-topping Latin songs.

The mother of two was seen embracing the moment and jamming to 1994 hit “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” by slain Mexican-American singer Selena Quintanilla and the 2019 hit “Que Tire Pa Lante” by Daddy Yankee. The reality star captioned the Oct. 19 upload that generated over 170,000 likes, “Work like you don’t need the money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobody’s watching ❤️ #RIPSELENA.” While some fans enjoyed watching the mother-daughter duo spending some quality time together, others criticized Evelyn for revealing her thong while adjusting her leggings.

“She didn’t have to do allat with her leggings. it’s gonna be alright miss ma’am ??.”

“She really wanted us to see her thong cause.. girl?.”

“She wayyyy too old to be showing her funky behind. I’m embarrassed for her.”

“THE BOND. Love it ✨”

“Mother daughter time is the best ?.”

Over the years, Evelyn has opened up about her bond with her older child. The Bronx native revealed to her millions of followers that she and her 27-year-old daughter have become a lot closer since her highly publicized divorce to former football player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson in 2012 after almost two months of marriage following a domestic dispute that left Evelyn hospitalized. In 2019 during an Instagram live Q&A session, the 44 year old disclosed that it was Shaniece who motivated her to walk away from her tumultuous marriage after a fan inquired where she got the strength to leave. “I knew in my heart I deserved better. I also didn’t want my daughter to think that it was ok to stay in an abusive relationship.”

She also elaborated on how she told her daughter about the incident saying that the hospital visit and the laceration on her head said more than she ever could. “Seeing me at the hospital spoke volumes, Me leaving that relationship also sent her another message.”
