Dr. Dre In Fight Of His Life, Wife Nicole Young Now Demanding $2 Million A Month In Spousal Support, Following Allegation The Producer Tore Up Pre-Up

It seems as if when it comes to Dr. Dre, real name Andre Young, “nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say,” and all that comes out their lips is talks of his impending divorce with his estranged wife, Nicole Young.  According to new documents that were filed on Thursday, the divorce saga between the two has just taken an epic turn.

In July, it was reported that Young, 50, filed the papers in attempts to dissolve her marriage of 24 years with the 55-year old super producer, rapper, and mogul in Los Angeles County Superior Court.  The soon to be divorced couple became married in 1996, and is Dr. Dre’s first marriage and Young’s second, as she was previously married to former NBA player Sedale Threatt.  They share two adult children, son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19.

When initial reports of the divorce filing were unleashed, sources close to Nicole stated that no prenuptial agreement was involved in the marriage, but the fight heightened more when it was reported that she indeed signed a prenup in 1996.  With the Beats By Dre mogul’s worth crossing into the billionaire bracket, Young isn’t walking away without her 40 acres, as she has challenged the prenup.

TMZ claims to have obtained legal documents filed by Young in which she says her signing of the prenup was forceful.  “I was extremely reluctant, resistant, and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner,” says Young of signing the agreement before marrying Dre. “Given the extraordinary pressure and intimidation by Andre, I was left with no option but to hire a lawyer (of course, with the help of Andre’s team of professionals) and unwillingly signed the agreement very shortly before our marriage.”

In attempts to challenge the agreement, Young claims that within 2 years of marriage, the rapper acknowledged he felt ashamed he had pressured her into signing a premarital agreement, which led him to tear up multiple copies of the agreement. “Since the day he tore up the agreements, we both understood that there was no premarital agreement, and that it was null and void,” she says.  However, sources close to Dr. Dre claim otherwise, saying the events she spoke of never occurred when it came to their prenup.  The sources also revealed to TMZ that the rapper has agreed to pay her spousal support and other expenses.

If that’s the case, according to the recent filing, Young has upped the ante in the epic divorce battle and is seeking a whopping $1,936,399 per month in temporary spousal support along with an additional $5 million in lawyer fees.  The documents also reveal that Dr. Dre kicked her out of the Brentwood mansion they shared in a drunken rage on April 1st.  She was also banished to their beach house in Malibu, but shortly afterward sent her a text saying “Do not spend one more cent… You can’t be mean and disrespectful and spend my hard-earned money. F**k that!” threatening to sell their home.

The documents also claim that although she does not work, she played a pivotal role in his career as she “was integral” in the process of naming the rapper’s successful record label “Aftermath.” Young, who also wants to have the support retroactively begin September 1st, wants to be able to maintain the lavish lifestyle that she’s been accustomed to including 5 LA residences, a multimillion-dollar private jet, yacht trips, a plethora of luxury cars, private chef, security guards, 7 housekeepers, and more.
