Megan Thee Stallion gets emotional while talking about her collaboration with Beyoncé

Megan Thee Stallion is on top of the world right now. She just dropped her “Savage (Remix)” with Beyoncé and the track broke the internet.

Following the single’s release, a very emotional Meg took to Instagram Live to share how happy she was about the collaboration and how much of a Beyoncé fan her late mother was.

“It’s really crazy cause like, my mama was like a really huge fan of like Beyoncé and she used to make me watch a lot of Beyoncé stuff,” she said. “And it’s like, when I met her I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ And I ain’t wanna be like, ‘Oh my God Beyoncé me and my mama love you.’”

She continued, “This shit is crazy — And it’s just like, for Beyoncé to even do a song with me — I really only been out for like two years. This is the beginning of year number two. Like, Beyoncé? It’s really crazy.”

Savage (Remix)” was met with immediate praise from fans who couldn’t get enough of the Lemonade singer’s racy lyrics.

On the track Bey raps, “Hips TikTok when I dance, on that demon time, she might start an OnlyFans/ Big B and that B stands for bands, if you wanna see some real ass, baby, here’s your chance/ I said, left cheek, right cheek, drop it low then swang/ Texas up in this thang, put you up from this gang/ I been poppin’ my frame, gang, gang, gang, gang/ If you don’t jump to put jeans on, baby, you don’t feel my pain…”

The Houston natives are also using this song to help out those in their hometown who have been affected during the pandemic. All proceeds for the remix will benefit Bread of Life’s COVID-19 relief efforts.
