It’s time to get our move on! Cultural icon Debbie Allen announced that she’ll be offering a free dance class via Instagram Live and this has to be the best thing since sliced bread!
The famed dancer took to social media to announce the class to her 1.4 million followers, encouraging us all to “get those bodies moving!” With people across the globe stuck inside the house in an attempt to stop the spread of the Coronavirus, this is just the silver lining we need.
Allen has a career in the entertainment industry that spans three decades and runs one of the most prestigious dance academies in the world, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
The Emmy Award winner joins a list of celebrities and concerned citizens doing what they can to provide support, resources and joy during this unprecedented pandemic. R&B singer John Legend recently gave a one hour concert from the comfort of his home for fans, dressed in only his robe.
We are so grateful to everyone doing their part. This is just the type of togetherness we need during this time.
