Not even two weeks after music sensation Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter blessed the world with her new hit Renaissance album, Bey and The Isley Brothers released a snippet of a new collaboration titled, “Make Me Say It Again, Girl.”

Ronald Isley released a snippet of the smooth jam in an Instagram post.

“WORLD PREMIERE of what we’ve been working on starting at 10 am est and every hour on the hour over on your favorite @iheartradio station,” Isley wrote.

This old school meets new school tease with Bey’s smooth, soulful vocals are sure to tickle Miss Tina Knowles and all millennial mothers and aunts.

Now, the world premiere of “Make Me Say It Again, Girl” has been shared by iHeartRadio on Thursday, August 9.

And if you happened to have missed it, you and the rest of the world will have to wait until Bey and The Isley Brother’s official release of “Make Me Say It Again, Girl” on Friday, August 12.

A remake of “Make Me Say It Again Girl (Part 1 & 2)” is featured on the new duet, which is a remake of the 1975 hit single “The Heat Is On” from The Isley Brothers’ album. The album was the group’s first No. 1 song on the Billboard 200 charts.

The highly anticipated collaboration was first revealed by Ron Isley with his wife Kandy in a Variety featured piece they did June of last year. Hence, fans have been waiting for nearly a year.

According to Billboard, to date, Bey’s new period has seen her collaborate with Beam (“Energy”), Madonna (“Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)”), and Grace Jones & Tems (“Move”).

It’s her first musical release outside of Renaissance and the first time the consistently top, charting Billboard geniuses have collaborated together. For The Isley Brothers, it’s their first musical release since last summer’s “Friends and Family,” which reached No. 13 on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.

As for Queen Bey’s Renaissance album, it’s still hot. All 16 Renaissance tracks made it onto the Hot 100 as a result of the singer’s success with “Break My Soul”. Queen Bey is also ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Hot 100, and Artist 100 simultaneously for the first time in her career.

We know these two top charting billboard artists’ new collaborative single “Make Me Say it Again, Girl” will reinvigorate the classic version, just like Beyonce Knowles did with the Cameo’s “Candy” sample in “Before I Let Go”. We’re also sure that Bey won’t face any critism over lyrics on this single either.
