Seems like Sha’Carri Richardson has been in the news for everything, but track as of late.
The American sprinter first became a household name after winning the 100-meter race at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials back in June. But, unfortunately, her fanfare took a nosedive after the American Sprinter tested positive for marijuana, which resulted in the Richardson being suspended for 30-days, essentially disqualifying her from appearing at the Olympics in Tokyo.
After being disqualified, the track star experienced a shift in support. Many fans shared their disappointment in the American Sprinter while others defended her marijuana use and attempted to petition the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), which bans the use of marijuana.

Sha’Carri Richardson eventually returned to track and field in late August at the Prefontaine Classic. However, her highly anticipated return was lackluster after the Sprinter finished dead last in the 100-meter race and later withdrew from the 200-meter.
In a post NBC interview, Sha’Carri Richardson didn’t waste any time addressing her haters: “Count me out if you want to. Talk all the s— you want, ’cause I’m here to stay. I’m not done,” the Sprinter stated. “I’m the sixth-fastest woman in this game, ever. And can’t nobody ever take that from me. Congratulations to the winners. Congratulations to the people that won, but they’re not done seeing me yet. Period.”
Well, it seems like Sha’Carri Richardson wasn’t finished addressing her critics and had a little more to get off her chest. In a recent tweet, Richardson suggested her haters were ugly and wished they were more attractive if they were going to hate.
“I wish the people that talk mess about me was cute at least,” Sha’Carri Richardson wrote.
