‘Black Ink Crew: Chicago’ Star Charmaine Bey Reveals Her Father Has Been Diagnosed With Stage 4 Cancer

Roommates, we’re sending lots of love and prayers to “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” star Charmaine Bey after she revealed her father has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophagus cancer.

Charmaine, who lost her mother back in December of 2019 during her pregnancy with her first child, said she is “living a nightmare” in a somber post she made Wednesday.

She explained she found out her father was diagnosed a few weeks ago.

When we found out my husband and I rushed to Louisiana to get him and bring him back to Chicago so I could take care of him and he could start treatment,” Charmaine explained about learning of the life-changing news.

Charmaine then went on to explain that things have since gotten worse.

“Although I know he is the best hospital in the country for cancer things have taken a turn for the worse! After chemo my dad had multiple seizures and now he has major memory loss,” she wrote.

Charmaine continued with the heartbreaking update. “He doesn’t know who I am and when I bring up my mom he ask me what am I talking about. It’s the most frustrating thing not to know why my dad is having seizures or memory loss!!!”

Charmaine says doctors are doing everything they can to find out what is going on but they still don’t have any results.

“They have ruled out a stroke and they are just as confused when it comes to my (dad’s) memory loss. Has this ever happened to anyone you love and what was causing the seizures after chemo?,” Charmaine asked her fans. “The doctors don’t think he is allergic to the chemo and don’t know why he is so confused/has memory loss. As of now they have no sign of cancer in the brain but still waiting for more test to be taken. Has anyone encountered anything like this before??”

We pray for Charmaine’s father’s healing and we’ll keep you posted on any updates.
