Flesh-n-Bone of the legendary Bone Thugs-N-Harmony wants to collaborate with the Migos and put an end their previous back-and-forth.
Back in 2018, after the Migos deemed themselves the “greatest rap group ever,” Bone Thugs member Layzie Bone took issue with the comment as he believed they failed to pay homage to them and other rap groups that came before them. His response prompted a brief exchange between members of both groups, but Flesh-n-Bone — who understands the Migos’ confidence and bravado — is ready to put it all to rest.
“That’s why I had to let them handle their business,” he said during a recent interview with Hot New Hip Hop.
“I look at the whole situation as a G. I’m like, ‘You know what, man?’ I’m going to let my little bro handle that and deal with that. For me being an OG, I just sat back and was like, ‘Man, you know what?’ I’ma tip my hat off to those dudes. I don’t care if they think they’re the greatest. They’re supposed to think that way.”
“That was my opinion from out the gate,” he continued. “I’m too much of a G to even address that because I’m the greatest. That should be the attitude. I’m going to adopt your attitude. Shit. I let some of these people get to me, you know? I need those dudes to come do a Flesh-n-Bone feature with the Migos. The Migos and Flesh-n-Bone — that’s what needs to happen.”
Migos is currently weeks away from releasing their long awaited project, Culture III. According to a press release and recent Instagram post, the Atlanta-bred trio will drop their album on June 11.
“This is the last chapter of Culture… Now it’s time to close that moment of Culture,” Quavo previously said of the forthcoming project. “It’s time to move on as the Migos to another journey in life.”
