Terry McMillan Looking To Feature Original Stars In Waiting To Exhale series
The television adaptation of Terry McMillian’s Waiting To Exhale, which has received a script commitment from ABC and is slated to be produced by Lee Daniels, may feature some of the 1995 film’s original stars. In an interview with Tamron Hall, McMillan shared that it is her desire to have the cast of the movie make cameo appearances in the series.
“I think and hope some of the other members of the cast who are still with us will make cameos,” McMillan told Hall. “They’re trying to recreate the essence of the story and not necessarily a reenactment of the story.”

“I absolutely agree that violates our policy,” Chief Arradondo said of Chauvin’s actions. “That is not part of our policy; that is not what we teach.”

A newly passed Utah law will require dads to begin paying child support before birth. According to the Associated Press, biological dads will have to hand over money to pay for half of pregnant women’s out-of-pocket prenatal costs. The intention behind the law is to decrease the burden of pregnancy on women and increase the responsibility of fathers in the state.
Rep. Alcee Hastings Dies After Battle With Pancreatic Cancer
Congressman Alcee Hastings has passed away. According to CNN, the 84-year-old Florida Democrat revealed a pancreatic cancer diagnosis in January 2019. Hastings was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1993. Prior to his election, Hastings served as a federal judge in the state of Florida. He was the first African-American federal judge to be appointed in the state.
