First dates can be an exciting and awkward experience. Similar to a sporting event, it can take strategy and making the right decisions to accomplish the goal of a love connection.
To help ease the pressure of first dates, and to provide play-by-play action, comedian Tiffany Haddish and Montrezl Harrell of the L.A. Clippers have teamed up with the dating app Bumble and ESPN to surprise first daters.
The couple initially met on Bumble, a dating app where women must make the first move.
Haddish and Harrell give real-time feedback on two unsuspecting Bumble dates. During the play-by-play, Haddish shares her thoughts on checking phones during first dates and Harrell supports women always making the first move.
Following the first restroom break by each couple, Haddish and Harrell separately surprised them mid-date to give advice, Haddish advised the women and Harrell gave advice to the men to ensure that the first date was a success.
Bumble users can win a chance to experience a date in Los Angeles with Tiffany and Montrezl by winning a curated trip. Users can download Bumble for a chance to win the “L.A. Our Way” curated experience.
